About P.R.I.D.E. TV
P.R.I.D.E. TV aims to promote, respect, investigate, define, and embrace LGBT+ representation in various children’s media, particularly television shows and films. Positive representation of sexuality and gender diversity is, to us, an integral aspect of today’s media.
About the Author
Rebecca is a junior professional writing major at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. She has been an active member of the school’s gay-straight alliance, “Allies,” since her freshman fall semester. Prior to her time at Elizabethtown, she was also a member of her high school’s gay-straight alliance, “Kaleidoscopic Lions.” Rebecca has written papers on LGBT+ lifestyle, including LGBT+ teen suicide rates and how the media portrayed the legalization of gay marriage.
